On Friday, March 29 at 11 a.m., the Diotima Center is organizing an event entitled “Women Talk”, on the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Day. The event is aimed at refugees, immigrants, and Greek women and will take place at the Television Control Center.<\/p>\n

At the event, 2 short films will be shown on the subject of the position of women in professions that are considered “masculine”. On the occasion of the films, we seek to open a dialogue between women, to freely exchange opinions and concerns about our rights, focusing on common concerns, experiences and hopes, regardless of age and country of origin. There will be simultaneous interpretation in Arabic, Farsi, French, and English. The event takes place within the framework of the program for the prevention, treatment, and legal assistance of incidents of gender-based violence in the refugee population<\/a>, which is implemented with the funding of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.<\/p>\n

Le vendredi 29 mars \u00e0 11:00 heures, le Centre Diotima organise un \u00e9v\u00e9nement intitul\u00e9 “Les femmes discutent” \u00e0 l’occasion de la Journ\u00e9e mondiale de la femme, le 8 mars. L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement est destin\u00e9 aux refugi\u00e9es, aux migrantes et aux femmes grecques et se tiendra au TV Control Center.<\/p>\n

Pendant l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement 2 films de court m\u00e9trage sur la position des femmes dans des professions consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme “masculines” seront \u00a0jou\u00e9s. \u00c0 l\u2019occasion des films, nous discuterons entre femmes, nous \u00e9changerons librement des points de vue et des r\u00e9flexions sur nos droits, en nous concentrant sur les pr\u00e9occupations, les exp\u00e9riences et les espoirs communs, ind\u00e9pendamment de l\u2019\u00e2ge et du pays d\u2019origine. Il y aura une interpr\u00e9tation simultan\u00e9e en arabe, farsi, fran\u00e7ais et anglais.<\/p>\n
