With great success, the “Symposium on the Prevention and Response to Sexual Violence and Harassment on and off the Internet” was held on Thursday 18 January 2024 at Serafio, with the participation of more than 100 people.
The symposium highlighted the intensity of the phenomenon and the importance of cooperation and public dialogue for preventing and combating sexual violence and harassment. There were presented the findings of the research conducted in the project, bringing out the challenges, successful practices and policy recommendations that can lead to conscious social alliances to improve the social and political reality when it comes to sexual violence and harassment.
The symposium was not only an opportunity for raising awareness, but also an excellent networking event, providing opportunities for interaction between the public and stakeholders.
The enthusiastic response is a motivation for us to continue our efforts to eradicate gender-based violence.
