FEM-ATTICA
The aim of the Plan is to contribute to the prevention and fight against all forms of gender-based violence and to support women.

The Action Plan “FEM-ATTIKA: Actions for the empowerment of vulnerable groups of women” concerns counselling and job preparation for women from vulnerable social groups. It is co- funded by the European Social Fund and national resources in the framework of the category of action 3.2.4 “Support for NGOs (Women’s Organisations)” (1st and 2nd cycle) of the Operational Program “Administrative Reform 2007-2013”. The Project has a duration of 24 months (August 2012 – 2014).

The aim of the Plan is to contribute to the prevention and fight against all forms of gender-based violence and to support women coming from vulnerable social groups (single parents, with many children, long-term unemployed, women experiencing poverty, migrants, asylum seekers, refugees and women who have experienced any form of gender-based violence).

In particular, the Action Plan is organised around two central pillars: the connection of counselling support with violence prevention issues as a horizontal action/content and the provision of specialised and targeted services to vulnerable social groups including victims of violence.
