This Analysis explores the critical role of women in the clean energy transition, highlighting that their participation is essential to address climate change, environmental degradation and energy security.
Focusing on ecofeminism and intersectionality, we provide a gender-based analysis to identify and address inequalities in the energy sector.
The analysis aims to develop gender-responsive policies and initiatives, ensuring equitable access to clean energy technologies and promoting women’s participation in decision-making, entrepreneurship and employment in this sector.
This approach ensures a more inclusive and effective transition to clean energy.
