Centre Diotima is launching a new partnership with the Kaizen Foundation to address the consequences of gender-based violence.
The Foundation’s support, covering the period from March 2026 to March 2027, significantly strengthens the specialized legal and psychosocial support services provided by Centre Diotima to women experiencing violence and facing multiple vulnerabilities.
This partnership is built on the shared values and commitments of both organizations to advancing gender equality and eliminating gender-based violence. It strengthens Centre Diotima’s capacity to respond to the growing number of requests from women seeking protection, legal assistance, and psychosocial support.
At Centre Diotima, we provide comprehensive services delivered by specialized professionals, with the aim of supporting and empowering women experiencing gender-based violence who have limited financial and/or social resources.
All our services are provided free of charge. At every stage, we ensure complete confidentiality and respect for each woman’s choices and lived experience.
Our legal team provides legal advice and court representation to Greek women, migrants, and refugees residing in the Attica and Central Macedonia regions. Our services include comprehensive support in seeking justice in cases of all forms of gender-based violence, including filing a criminal complaint, applying for protective measures, divorce proceedings, child support and custody proceedings, and obtaining a residence permit on humanitarian grounds. All legal and court costs are covered.
Our psychologists provide psychosocial support through individual sessions to Greek women, migrants, and refugees residing in the Attica and Central Macedonia regions, as well as remote sessions for women living elsewhere in Greece. Referrals to appropriate services and support structures are also provided, depending on each woman’s needs, including housing and healthcare services.
