The programme “Bilateral Initiative for the creation of educational materials for an e-learning course on sexual harassment” implemented by the Diotima Center and the KUN, Center of Equality and Diversity in Norway from November 2021 until January 2022, is funded by the ACTIVE CITIZENS FUND_GR as part of the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
Aim
The programme aims to strengthen the cooperation of organizations from Greece and Norway and the exchange of know-how in order to prepare an e-learning course on sexual harassment. Centre Diotima and KUN Centre for Equality and Diversity (Norway) will be able to strengthen the existing network of institutions of the two countries, exchange and communicate good and bad practices in the prevention and response to sexual harassment and jointly develop awareness-raising and training methods that use modern and flexible technologies.
Activities
- Recording and sharing of the basic problems and needs that exist when creating e-learning courses (e-course).
- Design the structure and content of the e-course on sexual harassment
- Identify and map out the technical requirements for creating an e-course
Expected Outcomes
The project will have a significant contribution to the promotion of gender equality and the fight against gender-based violence through:
- informing and raising awareness of people who may have been or are at risk of being sexually harassed in terms of their rights and how to support them
- informing and raising awareness of professionals who are able to organize actions and policies to prevent sexual harassment in education and workplaces
- raising awareness and informing the general public.
