Domestic violence became more frequent and a greater threat during the COVID-19 pandemic and while restrictions on movement to prevent the spread of the virus were imposed.

To both prevent and address the phenomenon and support the survivors, Centre Diotima, with the kind support of the British Embassy Athens, published a guide (in electronic and printed form) titled “Domestic Violence During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Knowing your rights”, available in Greek and in English.

This handy guide, in the form of frequently asked questions and answers, contains essential information for survivors of domestic violence, but also for any person who wants to help others and protect themselves.
